Towards Future Research on Space Weather: Concepts and Tools

The school will run, without overlapping the Meeting, from 3 to 6 July with one additional day on 7 July. All school participants should attend the meeting sessions. The school, which will include hands-on activities, is based on the concept of the CCMC Bootcamp. Participants should bring their own laptops for this activity.

School teachers will be three lecturers of the CCMC boot-camp (Yaireska Collado-Vega, Alex Glocer, Anna Chulaki) and workshop invited speakers or participants (e.g. Laura Balmaceda, Marilena Mierla, Nicole Vilmer, Sergio Dasso, Dibyendu Nandi, Francisco Iglesias).

The lectures of Wednesday through Saturday will take place at the meeting venue (Convention Center "Guillermo Barrena Guzmán"), while the lectures and hands-on activities of Sunday will be held at the multimedia room of the "Departamento de Ingeniería Electromecánica" (click here to see location). School participants will be lodged at San Juan's University Residence "El Palomar", located at 25 de Mayo Oeste 1921 (20-mins walk to the Convention Center).
