High-mass stars form inside molecular clouds, cold and dense regions. These stars physically and chemically modify the interstellar medium that surrounds them; this interaction determines the fate of nearby molecular clouds and the possible formation of a new generation of stars. Despite the great advances that have been made both observationally and theoretically, there is still no understanding of how high-mass stars form. Therefore, by means of observations on a small spatial scale, an attempt will be made to establish how high-mass stars acquire their final mass.
