In 2023, IAFE and the Galileo Galilei Planetarium of Buenos Aires join forces once again —for the fourth time— to bring the public closer to some of the many research topics explored by the Institute’s scientists. Researchers from IAFE and science communicators from the Planetarium will meet under the starry dome to share presentations on a variety of subjects with the audience. Each of the three sessions in the series will begin with a brief introduction to the topic by the guest scientist, followed by a conversation covering the latest developments in the research area, the challenges of communicating scientific results, and the broader issues of science outreach, among other topics. Finally, the event will conclude with the traditional open dialogue between the speakers and members of the roundtable.
