Objective Our main objective is to develop and to assess methodologies to soil water condition determination from SAR data and ancillary information using a Bayesian retrieval scheme. The specific objectives of this proposal are: – Assessing the capabilities of ALOS-2/PALSAR-2 to monitor water condition over bare soils. – Comparing the capacities of SAR systems at different frequencies to monitor water condition over bare soils.
